Current client ‘Katie’s Lymphoedema Fund’ showcasing their garden debut at Hampton Court Palace Flower Show 2016
As the time nears to the start of HCPFS we thought it’s about time to introduce Katie’s Lymphoedema Fund, and the ‘cut flower’ garden being created in loving memory of Katie Oliver.
Katie struggled with lymphoedema and succumbed to cancer in 2001, aged just 35. Designers Carolyn Dunster and Noemi Mercurelli have taken it upon themselves to design a garden that will celebrate Katie’s life and raise awareness of the work that Katie’s Lymphoedema Fund does in raising money to train oncology nurses and other NHS practitioners in the treatment of Lymphoedema; in particular in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) – see more information at http://www.katieslymphoedemafund.co.uk/.
While the garden itself has not quite been built yet, here is an illustration of what the garden will look like once complete!
