Aussie designer Bernadette Cronin’s debut swimwear collection has just arrived in time for those of you about to hit the Med, The South Pacific or the London Fields Lido……………
Inspired by vintage shapes and legendary Australian swimming star Annette Kellerman, the collection is made from the best Italian swim fabric with just the right amount of lycra. The feel is premium and the fit perfect for all as the one pieces come in 2 lengths and the bikinis have a traditional brief and a ‘big pant’ style which is obviously very on trend with the 1950’s vibe that’s so cool at the moment, and they hide a multitude of sins if required!
Annette Marie Sarah Kellerman (6 July 1886 – 6 November 1975) was an Australian professional swimmer, Vaudeville star, film actress and writer. She was one of the first women to wear a one piece bathing costumer, instead of the then-accepted pantaloons, and inspired others to follow her example.
The collection will officially launch later this year.
